About us

What Is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic care can treat a range of conditions from lower back pain and sciatica to neck pain and headaches. Chiropractic care can also help treat other issues affecting the body, including joint and knee pain, as well as assisting with overall strengthening and conditioning of the back.

Many people use chiropractic care to fight the effects of aging, repetitive motions, or other factors that can result in the misalignment of the spine. Pregnant women and people with high-activity jobs can especially benefit from chiropractic care due to the extra stress on their bodies.

Chiropractic care is for people of all ages, from children to senior citizens.

Our chiropractors have received additional training in pediatric and prenatal adjusting techniques.

Why chiropractic care is important?

Chiropractic care works around the principle that the relationship between the body's structure and its function affects health. The spine not only acts as the main support for our body, it also protects the spinal cord, which connects a large part of the peripheral nervous system to the brain.

Doctors. Two of us.

Dr. Philip J. Crane

Dr. Philip J. Crane, D.C., is an Applied Kinesiologist and Chiropractor who partners with athletes and individuals who seek physical peak performance.

Phil’s non-invasive approach to optimum health focuses on a full-body approach to care getting to the root cause of your problem fast.

He grew up watching how much chiropractic and AK helped his dad’s patients and wanted to grow up helping people in the same way. His exposure to chiropractic care started when he was born when his father (also a chiropractor) “caught” Phil because the midwives didn’t make it on time. And his first words were “occiput,” “vertebra,” and “subluxation” because of his exposure to the benefits of chiropractic care at a young age.

He is a graduate of McIntosh High School and a graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. During his studies, he became certified in Applied Kinesiology, was involved in the X-Ray Intern program and Sherman College Lyceum. Additionally, Dr. Crane served as President of the Applied Kinesiology Club.

Today, he is a resident of Peachtree City, where he and his wife, Dr. Gillian J. Crane, have a love/hate relationship with home improvement. They have two fur babies, Beau (mixed breed) and Zeus (Italian Greyhound) and can be found at Line Creek Brewery when he is not playing video games in their downtime.

Dr. Gillian J. Crane

Dr. Gillian J. Crane, D.C., is an Applied Kinesiologist and Chiropractor who, as a retired Certified Athletic Trainer, is passionate about athletes. She also specializes in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care.

Gillian is passionate about her patients being able to take back the power over their health. She works with her patients to ensure their bodies are functioning on an optimal level and need her less.

She received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, and graduated Cum Laude from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. While studying chiropractic, she was involved in the X-ray Intern program, Sports Counsel, Athletic Club, Applied Kinesiology Club, and was involved in the volunteer program that offered free chiropractic care to the athletes of Spartanburg Methodist College. Also, during that time, she achieved certification in Applied Kinesiology.

She and Dr. Phil married in October of 2020, just months after opening Sentinel Health and Wellness. In her downtime, she hangs out with their two fur babies, Beau (mixed breed) and Zeus (Italian Greyhound), and enjoys an occasional glass of red wine and salty snacks.
